A community project delivered through the Salisbury Bemerton Pride in Place programme, Stories in the Dust worked with young collaborators from Woodlands Primary School to create a film that captured their lived experiences and their views on where they live.
With further investment planned for Bemerton Heath through the Pride in Place programme, this film will directly feed into future decision making ensuring that young people have the opportunity to contribute to conversations about the future of their community.
This film will be shared at i-PLACE 26; the annual conference of the Key Cities Innovation Network, bringing together local government, universities, researchers, civic organisations and practitioners who work at the forefront of place innovation.
This year’s theme, Liveable (and lovable) places, focuses on Pride in Place, arts and culture, children and young people, lived experience, belonging and resilient communities.
